Gold Shell Ritual Bowl
Pickup currently not available
Description
Handmade in Bali, Indonesia, from capiz shell. Each fragment is cut, polished, and pieced together by hand, then finished with a light resin coating that gives the bowl its strength and soft, pearl-like sheen. No two are quite the same.
A ritual bowl is one of those objects that earns its place slowly. Use it to catch the ash from burning palo santo or sage, as a resting spot for a single crystal you keep coming back to, or simply as somewhere to set down rings and jewellery at the end of the day.
Some people keep one by the bed, others on a windowsill where the light catches the shell. However it's used, it becomes part of a small, repeated moment, the kind that marks a pause in the day rather than another task in it.
